First in an Italian Series of 3:
Piazza del Campo, Siena,
Piazza San Marco, Venice, and
Alberobello, Puglia.
Here just taken by:
• The Sienese colours and textures.
• The somewhat haphazard Roofscape pattern against the sweeping Street axes, together with the focal points of the main Piazza and 2 sub piazzas.
• The contrast between the Rooftops in sunlight and the deep shadow of the Streets - chiaroscuro.
Overall, I wanted to keep it more cartoon like rather than being too literal.
